End of Term

What a busy first term we have all had! Room 14 have already shown such a huge improvement in their learning from the beginning of the year. They have truly been working hard and have been kept super busy throughout this first term. Well done, Room 14! You have made Ms Peake and myself very happy with the work you have produced and the huge effort you have put into all your work.

Throughout the term, Room 14 had been working towards an end-of-term reward for good behaviour. We decided as a class what the reward would be so that the children could work towards it each day. We managed to gain 100 marbles for our Marble Behaviour Chart and were rewarded with a movie and popcorn on Friday afternoon!

Thank you for such an exciting and productive term, everyone! Remember to continue practising your Times Tables, reading, spelling and writing during your break, as well as having a relaxing and exciting holiday. We are looking forward to seeing you after the holidays ready for another great term!

ANZAC Day Ceremony

In preparation for our school's ANZAC service, which was held on the last day of term, Room 14 worked with their buddy class to create some beautiful poppy flowers. Room 15 and 14 did a wonderful job on making these flowers from crepe paper, which were then worn on their shirts for the ANZAC service on Friday.
Ms Peake and I were extremely proud of everyone's behaviour during the ANZAC service. Everyone showed a great deal of respect and sat quietly throughout the entire ceremony. Well done, Room 14. We are very proud teachers of our lovely classroom.

The Year Two's also worked with their buddy class to create a beautiful wreath of flowers to place at the ANZAC service. A special thank you to Mrs Lowther who assisted the classes during this activity. The end result of our shared wreath looked absolutely beautiful! Fantastic job Room 14 and 15!

Life Cycles

This term we have focused on Biological Science, which included learning all about living things such as people, plants, animals, animal habitats, life cycles and food chains. We have a bright display in our classroom of the student's work, which you are welcome to come and take a look at. Next term's focus will be based on Earth and Space Sciences.
