Friendly Reminders:

• Super Scientist presentations are on this week. Please ensure that your child is prepared for their presentation on their rostered day. All students should know what day they are presenting on, if not there is a timetable in our classroom. So far the presentations have been very interesting!  :) 
• Scitech Excursion: Please remember to sign the permission slip and hand in the $13 for your child to attend this excursion next week.

Holiday Recounts

Room 14 have completed their exciting holiday writing! Come on in to Room 14 to have a read. We are noticing a great improvement in everyone's writing this term!

Dancing Lessons

Room 14 and Room 16 have been enjoying their dance lessons together on Thursday afternoons. We have already learned one dance and are learning another Hip Hop dance too in preparation for our end of year school concert. 

Science 

Our Science topic for this term is Physical Sciences. Here we are experimenting different types of forces using playdough. We had to use pushing and pulling forces and determine which forces we were using to change the movement of the playdough. 

Super Scientists- Week 3

Dear Parents,

A friendly reminder that our Super Scientist presentations will begin next week on Monday (24th Oct). There is a timetable on our classroom door along with the topic your child has chosen. 

If anyone is having trouble thinking of a topic, please let me know and I will provide your child with a topic and instruction sheet. 

We can't wait to see what everyone has researched and prepared for us next week! :)

Welcome Back!

Welcome back to all students and parents of Room 14! We cannot believe we are beginning Term 4 already, it seems like yesterday we first entered the classroom at the start of the year! Time sure does fly when you're having fun. 

I'm sure this term will fly by, as it's going to be a super busy one! We have very exciting events coming up this term such as, swimming lessons, dance classes and of course, our end of year concert to prepare for! Just a couple of reminders:

Could parents please ensure that your child's dance money is returned to school, preferably the first week back. 

Test books that were sent home last term will need to be returned to one of the class teachers as soon as possible. 

Room 14 Learning Journey

Thank you to all the parents who attended our Learning Journey last term! We appreciate you coming in and viewing all the interesting things our class have been learning through the year so far.The afternoon went very well and Room 14 did a fantastic job at showing their families around our classroom, explaining their learning beautifully. Well done! 

Farewell!

We would like to wish Honor and Maria a fantastic time at your new schools! We are sure that you will both settle in well and make new friends very quickly. We are going to miss you both very much! Thank you for all of your hard work and being a wonderful part of our classroom. 

On our last day of Term 3, we celebrated our good behaviour with a quick "dance party" and movie. The class had a fabulous afternoon, celebrating all of their hard work put in throughout the term.
