Procedure Writing!
Last week, Room 14 focused on writing procedures. We practised writing each part of a procedure for 'How to Make Fairy Bread'. This was very exciting for the class, because there was a special surprise for them if they were to complete their very best writing. Yes, we got to make our very own Fairy Bread! We had to make sure we had the right materials and ingredients that we had listed in our procedure.
Once our writing was complete, we followed our procedures and ensured we took the correct steps to make the delicious treat. Ask your child to show you how well they can follow procedures!
First, we had to spread the butter evenly over our slice of bread.
Next, we had to carefully sprinkle on the 100's and 1000's over the butter.
Sprinkle, sprinkle...
...and more sprinkling!
Then finally...
We could taste it!
