P&C School Lapathon 2016
The Lapathon was an exciting afternoon held by the school's P&C, where all classes ran as many laps as they could to help contribute in raising money for the school to help purchase iPads for each classroom. A big thank you to all students and parents in Room 14 who brought in money as a part of their donations! It was a very eventful afternoon, which ended with a tasty treat from the P&C...icy poles! The children all had a fantastic time and all tried their very best to run as many laps as they possibly could. It was great to see many of our students set goals for the afternoon and trying their very best to achieve them! Awesome job, Room 14!
Art Award
Well done to our lovely class who received the Art Award at our last assembly. Fantastic effort!
We received the award for our enthusiasm and dedication displayed when learning how to operate cameras. Miss Randall said that Room 14's photographs of the school were beautiful! Fantastic work, Room 14! We are so proud of you all.

2016 Rio Olympics
Have you been watching the 2016 Rio Olympics? In class, we have been researching the history of the Olympic Games. We have learnt lots of important facts during this time. Each student created an Olympic poster displaying the information that they found during their research. Please come and have a look at the wonderful posters on display.
The Olympics is all about the Values of Respect, Friendship and Excellence. These Values are extremly important to everyone in Room 14 and it is what we demonstrate each and every day.
Each Olympic athlete sets and strives for personal goals. In class, we also set regular goals. This term, we continued the Olympic theme and placed our goals on Olympic medals.
We completed a fun art activity where we coloured in an Olympic torch using contrasting
warm and cool colours.
