During Week 3, our class participated in a NAIDOC Day Incursion. Leonard, an Aboriginal Elder, came in to teach us all about Aboriginal Culture. We learnt that everything in the environment is connected an it is very important that we take care of it. We also learnt an important lesson about sharing within your friendship group or tribe. In class, we looked at a Dreamtime story about 'How the Birds got their Colours' and completed some Aborignal Artwork.
