On Wednesday, 23 March 2016 Wattle Grove Primary School celebrated Harmony Day. The whole school came dressed in their national dress or in the colour orange which is the official colour for Harmony Day.
The message for Harmony Day 2016 is 'Everyone Belongs' . It’s a day to celebrate
Australia’s diversity – a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls
Australia home.Throughout the term we have been discussing what the word 'diversity' means and why we are so lucky to all be unique and live together as one group.
During Art each student in the school created a 'brick' for our Harmony House which was on display during our Harmony Day celebrations.
